Location: Multiple Coppermine Pool Locations (3 Pools- Baltimore County)
Position Type: Seasonal Full-Time (Summer)
Are you an energetic, organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment? We're looking for a Summer Aquatics Director to oversee operations at three pool facilities, ensuring exceptional customer service, safe operations, and a positive experience for our members, guests, and staff.
This leadership role requires someone who is hands-on, dependable, and available to work weekends or be on-call throughout the summer season.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations at three pool locations.
- Recruit, schedule, supervise, and support pool managers, lifeguards, and front gate staff.
- Conduct regular visits to each pool to ensure high operational and safety standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to pool management teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pool managers and assist with problem-solving throughout the day.
- Coordinate facility rentals, special events, and private pool parties.
- Communicate with the pool maintenance company regarding repairs, water quality concerns, and equipment issues.
- Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, company policies, and aquatic safety standards.
- Assist with member concerns and provide outstanding customer service.
- Manage staffing adjustments and respond to last-minute scheduling needs.
- Be available to work weekends and remain on-call for operational issues throughout the summer.
