If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerforms drafting in MicroStation and/or AutocadPlot utilities and topographic mappingPerform office survey activities in accordance with Minimum Standards of Practice for SurveyingPerform utility records researchPerforms office computations necessary for the completion of task assignments including QA/QC.Prepares finished mapping products including: SUE QL B, C, and D level mapping, topographic mapping, and other survey reportsCommunicates the daily progress of the crew towards the project goals and/or accomplishments with the office staffNonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsMust successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screeningValid Driver's License RequiredAble to pass Background CheckRequired ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with Subsurface Utility Designation and/or Test HolesFamiliarity with third party software for data reduction and drafting, including Microstation & AutoCADWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time.
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required 5% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
