A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor / Group Therapist to provide recovery-focused services to individuals participating in outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs throughout Maryland.

Qualifications:
• LCADC, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD credential required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
• Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred
• Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, and Trauma-Informed Care
• Strong group facilitation, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions
• Support clients in developing recovery and relapse prevention strategies
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Assist with treatment planning, referrals, and discharge coordination
