On-call Substitute Teachers
Status: On-call substitutes schedule will vary based on assignment. Daily rate: Teacher substitutes in emotional support or autistic support = $145 per day/$72.50 per half day; teacher substitutes in all other IU 13 classrooms = $135 per day/$67.50 per half day. And earn even more $$ by actively subbing! Daily substitutes can earn up to an additional $500 a month for fulfilling assignments in IU13 classrooms. The more you sub every month, the more you can earn!! – Sub 10 times in a month, receive an extra $200! – Sub 20 times in a month, receive an extra $300!
Purpose of position: Substitute teachers to support students in special education classrooms in Lancaster and Lebanon counties on an on-call basis. Knowledge and skill requirements: Bachelor's degree and active PA Department of Education certification in special education.
