Instructional Aide (IA)

The Substitute IA position will substitute for absentee Instructional Aides throughout GVSD. The Substitute IA hourly rate is $21.00/hour.
The Instructional Aide (IA) duties include:
- Provide instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff.
- Assist students in organizational skills as directed by teacher.
- Guide students in activities which are designed and assigned by the teacher.
- Supervise and assist students with all forms of technology.
- Reinforce student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.)
- Report and/or collect data for educational or behavioral reasons.
- Provide clerical support as needed.
- Supervise students as needed during all school functions.
- Process and maintain confidential student records and information.
- Assist with student testing and supervision of testing environments.
- Schedule or organize meets as directed by teacher or supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or supervisor.
