QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. CT Teaching Certification preferred (165/065 Comprehensive Special Education, PK-12)
  3. Prior classroom experience
  4. Strong classroom management and organization skills
OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom.
  2. Deliver daily instruction aligned with curriculum and standards.
  3. Differentiate instruction.
  4. Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement.
  5. Maintain pacing consistent with grade-level/course expectations.
  6. Monitor student progress.
  7. Maintain confidentiality.
  8. Communicate regularly with administration, team members, and support staff.
  9. Follow all district policies, procedures, and expectations.
