If recommended for substitute employment, you will receive additional paperwork to complete the application process.
Final candidates will be recommended to the Superintendent of Schools for Board approval.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Custodian work involves independent activity to keep schools clean, sanitary, and in orderly condition; to perform minor and maintenance tasks; perform assigned manual work or ordinary responsibilities and semi-skilled tasks that follow established procedures.
COST PER HOUR:
Substitute Custodians receive $21 per hour

- Completion of high school, or sufficient education to carry out verbal and written instructions
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Awareness of factors of fire and health safety involved in the care of the buildings
- Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance
