Substitute Custodian

General duties include collecting and disposing of all trash and proper separation and disposal of all recycling. Responsibilities also cover cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking washrooms, restrooms, kitchens, cafeterias, and water fountains. Daily cleaning tasks involve sweeping, dusting, wet mopping, and vacuuming of all walls, floors, windows, and furniture both inside and outside the facility. Additionally, general maintenance and cleanup of all grounds, including grass and weed cutting and snow removal, are required. Must be able to work at any School District building and no more than 29 hours per week, either first shift or second shift. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Head Custodian, building Principal, or immediate Supervisor.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
