Custodial Substitute

The Custodial Substitute will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Tenino School District. This is a substitute position that may require work on short notice. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other school facilities; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping down surfaces; collecting and disposing of trash and recycling; setting up and taking down chairs, tables, and other equipment for events; reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel; following safety procedures and guidelines; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior custodial experience preferred, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, physical ability to perform custodial tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, and ability to pass a background check and Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
