Substitute Custodial Position
As-Needed, Flexible Schedule
Position Currently Open
Quincy Community Schools is currently looking for a Substitute Custodian to join our custodial team and help us provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn.
This is a substitute, as-needed position with a flexible schedule. To be considered for this position, successful candidates should have:

1. Knowledge of cleaning and general maintenance procedures.
2. Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
3. Ability to read and understand operating instructions.
4. Knowledge of worker safety.
5. Ability to see things that need to be done.
6. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
7. Initiative and ability to work without supervision.
8. Ability to carry out directives, budget time and meet responsibilities on schedule.
9. Ability to organize and carry out tasks in an efficient manner.
10. Able to relate to people.
11. High school diploma or equivalent.
12. Custodial experience preferred.
