Position Summary
The School District is accepting applications for a District-Wide Substitute Custodian to provide custodial coverage on an as-needed basis across all school buildings. This position supports the daily operations of the district by ensuring facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. The substitute custodian may be assigned to any school and any shift as needed.

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas
- Perform routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Assist with building setup and breakdown for school activities and events
- Follow all district safety procedures and proper use of custodial equipment and supplies
- Report maintenance, safety, or supply concerns to the Head Custodian or Facilities Office
- Provide assistance during weather-related events and emergency situations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attendance and punctuality required
- Must successfully pass required criminal history and background checks
- On-call, as-needed basis
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be required
- $22.00 per hour , in accordance with district substitute pay guidelines
