Child Development Assistant IUnder the direction of the Director of Student and Family Services, provide quality child care and a safe and nurturing environment for infant and toddler-aged children in a designated child care center or program; assist the teacher with implementing a variety of activities to meet the needs and interests of the children. The Child Development Assistant I classification provides classroom support to a teacher in an infant and toddler-aged classroom environment. Incumbents assist with various student needs in relation to the age of the children, including assisting with basic feeding and diapering/toileting.Requirements / Qualifications:Other (Valid permit or working towards one)Proof of HS Graduation (HS Diploma, GED or equivalent or college transcripts)Substitutes are considered on-call/as needed.
Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI, online trainings and proof of being cleared of Tuberculosis and online trainings are required prior to starting employment.
