Per Sé Group is seeking experienced Substation Physical Design Engineers to support one of the largest utility engineering programs in California.
You’ll review existing engineering packages, then head into the field to verify what’s actually installed—equipment layouts, grounding, conduit, cable routing, structures, foundations, and everything in between.
This isn’t greenfield design.
It’s solving real engineering problems inside operating substations.

What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of utility substation physical design experience
- Strong background reviewing physical design drawing packages
- Experience verifying existing conditions in operating substations
- Ability to identify engineering discrepancies and develop accurate field documentation
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern and Central California
