Substation Engineering Manager

As Substation Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and business growth by:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of substation engineers
- Building strong relationships with utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients
- Supporting the successful delivery of substation projects from planning and design through construction support
- Providing technical oversight and QA/QC
- Partnering with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities
- Helping drive technical excellence, quality, safety, and innovation across projects
- Leading recruitment, career development, and team engagement initiatives
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM's Energy practice
In this role, you'll help:
- Grow a thriving and engaged substation team

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA +12 years of related experience with at least 4 years of experience acting in a leadership or practice-building capacity or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- PE
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in substation engineering
- A passion for developing people and building strong teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing projects, clients, and technical teams
- A commitment to quality, safety, and client success
- PE in multiple states
