Substation Engineer – P&C or Physical Design (Remote)
$90k - $150k Depending on Experience and Licensure
We are currently working with several clients seeking Mid-Level to Senior Substation Engineers to join their teams on a fully remote basis . This role involves supporting high-voltage substation projects with a focus on Protection & Control (P&C) and/or Physical Design .
Responsibilities
- Perform Protection & Control (P&C) and/or Physical design engineering for high-voltage substation projects
- Conduct QA/QC reviews and peer reviews of engineering design packages
- Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Assist with or oversee project execution and engineering deliverables
- Stamp and seal engineering drawings when applicable (based on licensure and experience)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in substation design
- Experience with HV substation projects preferred
- EIT or PE license preferred (PE may be required for stamping drawings)
