Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support high-voltage substation design projects across the Americas. This role will focus on primary engineering, developing substation layouts and technical designs for projects ranging from 11kV to 765kV.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review high-voltage substation layouts and primary engineering designs.
- Support indoor and outdoor GIS applications and associated building infrastructure.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and field personnel.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years.
- Hands-on experience with indoor and outdoor GIS substations.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage substation primary engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- P.Eng. certification is preferred.
