Substation Engineer Lead – Canton, OH We're partnering with a large, well-established industrial manufacturer in Northeast Ohio to hire a Substation Engineer Lead supporting critical medium-voltage power distribution infrastructure across a major manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on technical/project leadership role — not a people-management position. It's a strong opportunity for an experienced substation or power systems professional who wants challenging technical work without the travel often associated with this field.
Work with transformers, switchgear, breakers and protective relays Lead electrical infrastructure upgrades and modernization projects Support system reliability, preventive maintenance and root-cause troubleshooting Partner with engineering, maintenance, operations and outside contractors Lead projects through installation and commissioning Strong power systems troubleshooting and engineering background Utility, power services or heavy industrial/manufacturing backgrounds are all relevant 10% annual bonus opportunity
