Supporting an assigned group of engineers and technicians, the full-time remote Substation Designer will provide technical drafting and design support for infrastructure projects, focusing on creating accurate 3D models and offering guidance to other technicians. Key responsibilities Design and develop plans for infrastructure projects using 3D modeling software Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and technicians in drafting and design tasks Ensure adherence to company and project standards and procedures while collaborating with team members Required qualifications Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting or equivalent 7 or more years of infrastructure-related experience Proficiency in 3D software programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit Detailed drafting experience with substation electrical equipment layouts and related designs Ability to work independently and embrace evolving technology to enhance workflows
