Supporting the Substation group of engineers, the full-time Substation BIM Technician will provide technical drafting support and create construction drawings/designs remotely while collaborating closely with the team. Key responsibilities Complete design and drafting tasks for substation projects under supervision Utilize AutoCAD and Microstation software to produce accurate construction drawings Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards Required qualifications Two-year technical degree or current enrollment in a Technical Drafting program preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation is required Familiarity with Autodesk Revit software is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Knowledge of substation electrical protection and control or physical design is beneficial
