To support a growing Substation Team, the remote Substation BIM Subject Matter Expert will advance Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices across substation design projects, providing technical leadership, developing standards, and mentoring project teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Substation BIM standards, workflows, and best practices while providing production support and quality assurance Collaborate with clients to implement BIM standards and serve as a technical point of contact for BIM-related discussions Provide mentorship and technical guidance to designers and drafters, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, BIM, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; or an Associate degree with two additional years of relevant experience 10+ years of experience in BIM, CAD, design, or engineering support roles 2+ years of experience supporting electric utility, power delivery, or substation projects Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Experience with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar collaboration platforms
