Base pay range
$48,230.00/yr - $75,600.00/yr
The role
In this role, you will interact regularly with clients, referral sources, field staff, and members of the local community. You will be a resource for clients and community partners, guiding them on the path to recovery. You will work side by side with a high‑impact team of medical providers, recovery coaches and coordinators, helping clients to thrive. Your work is essential and your constant feedback will be expected to help clients reach the best outcome possible. Unless otherwise specified, this position is remote (work from home) with an expectation of attending team meetings quarterly. A potential for hybrid capability further in the future is preferred.
What you will do
- Demonstrate and communicate Better Life Partners core values
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for Better Life Partners clients
- Familiarize with and utilize evidence‑based curriculum guides and training
- Provide detailed feedback and maintain clinical progress notes on clients
- Counsel one‑on‑one with clients when deemed necessary
- Participate in community research and public health partner data collection efforts
- Formulate and maintain treatment plans for each client served
- Collaborate with community partners and providers on case management and care coordination
- Adhere to professional and ethical work standards, enforcing appropriate counselor/client boundaries
- Manage group dynamics and problem behavior with strong professional judgement so group integrity is maintained
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations for licensing and billing
- Attend and engage in regular training, company meetings, monthly counselor consultation, and supervision as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field
- NH license (LADC, MLADC, LMFT, LCMHC, LICSW)
- Master’s level preferred
- 2–3 years of experience working with substance use or related field
- Valid driver’s license
- Bi‑lingual Spanish proficiency
Preferred skills
- Experience leading group therapy sessions, especially over telehealth/Zoom
- Comfortable working with an EMR/EHR system and updating clinical notes
- Willingness to travel locally within the communities we serve
- Flexible schedule, including ability to work 1–2 evenings a week
- Self‑motivated, team player with a positive “all‑hands‑on‑deck” attitude, organized and able to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Location and travel requirements
- Role may involve remote work; hybrid and travel to onsite meetings as needed
- Candidate must be willing and able to travel locally within served communities
Working from home requirements
- Reliable high‑speed internet service
- Ensure secure environment for protected health information; no visible or audible data to others
- Quiet space for client sessions, with minimal background noise and distractions
