Location: Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Subrogation Team Lead is responsible for acting as team lead in recovery of overpayments or situations involving other party liability. Evaluates, prepares, negotiates and settles Workers' Compensation and Third Party Liability and other recovery cases. May have recovery accountability on liens with higher level of settlement authority.
How you will make an impact:
- Oversees complex Workers' Compensation/Third Party Liability and other subrogation recovery cases. Provides on-going training to lower level associates.
- Conducts audits of work. Develops procedures and provides input to policies. Reviews legal precedents.
- Researches and applies or interprets appropriate laws. Works with Legal Department.
- Prepares communications. Assists manager with special projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years experience handling Workers' Compensation and/or Third Party Liability cases; or any combination of education and/or experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Subrogation Examiner experience preferred.
- Subrogation Analyst experience preferred.
- Experience in multiple lines of business.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Leadership or training experience.
- Ability to develop training materials.
- Recruiting experience.
- Attention to detail.
