About the Role:
United Subrogation Associates is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Subrogation Recovery professional to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by recovering funds and delivering results in a fast-paced, specialized legal and insurance environment.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate subrogation claims to identify recovery opportunities
Manage a caseload of subrogation files from inception through resolution
Negotiate settlements with adverse parties, insurers, and legal representatives
Draft and send demand letters and supporting documentation to liable third parties
Coordinate with insurance carriers, attorneys, and internal teams to maximize recovery
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in claims management systems
Monitor statutes of limitations and ensure timely pursuit of recovery actions
Requirements:
Prior experience in subrogation, insurance claims, or collections recovery
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with property & casualty, auto, or workers' compensation subrogation principles
Ability to analyze liability, damages, and coverage to assess recovery potential
Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
