UVA Athletics Student Success seeks a diverse candidate pool of Student Success Study Hall Monitors to support student-athletes in their academic spaces.
We are seeking dependable and attentive Study Hall Monitors to provide supervision and support during our evening study hall hours. The ideal candidate will create a safe, structured, and quiet environment where students can focus on academic success while ensuring program policies and expectations are followed.
Student Success Study Hall Monitors Hours:
Seeking students who are available Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during study hall hours.
- Maintain a quiet, organized, and productive learning environment.
- Monitor student attendance and check students in and out as required.
- Enforce program rules and expectations in a professional and respectful manner.
- Address minor behavioral issues and report significant concerns to Student Success Team
- Assist with closing procedures for the study hall.
- Communicate professionally with staff and students.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the shift.
- Current UVA student enrolled full time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a supervisory role.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow all UVA, ACC, and NCAA Guidelines.
- Federal work study students encouraged to apply.
- Assignment Dates: August 2026-May 2027
- Position Compensation: $15-$20 Hourly

Education: Current UVA student. Candidates will be in their second year of undergraduate or above.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job and may involve traveling between spaces. All shifts will take place in person .
