Join Faced as we open our flagship Charlotte location, which is set to open in Winter 2026. Faced will join neighboring tenants DryBar, Williams Sonoma, Lake, Sid & Ann Mashburn and many others in conveniently located Specialty Shops SouthPark.

About Faced The Facial Studio:

  • Through its team of professional estheticians, Faced The Facial Studio provides its clients customized 30 and 50 minute facials and Hydrafacials using clean, effective product lines. A tailored and educational client approach, convenient and luxurious retail location, extended operating hours, accessible prices without add-on service fees, monthly membership options, and an easy-to-use online booking system help ensure Faced’s custom facials become part of its clients’ monthly skincare routine. Additionally, Faced offers a curated offering of skincare products to continue to enhance our client’s skincare routine at home.
  • Faced operates 4 Atlanta area locations and will open its first Charlotte-area location at the Specialty Shops SouthPark.

Position Overview:

  • The Studio Director is the leader of the studio and is ultimately responsible for its success. Core responsibilities include driving team growth and satisfaction, ensuring excellent client experiences, community-building, leading daily operations, and taking accountability for the studio’s financial performance.

Reports To: Regional Director

Primary Duties:

  • Build Client Loyalty
  • Drive repeat business, customer loyalty, and memberships by ensuring clients feel welcome in the studio, establishing strong client relationships, being respectful of clients’ time, and providing a comfortable and clean environment.
  • Go the extra mile to create memorable experiences for clients.
  • Proactively assess client satisfaction and resolve client concerns decisively, empathetically, and effectively to ensure client loyalty.
  • Lead the Team
  • Regularly provide in-the-moment and planned coaching/feedback to your team of estheticians and studio hosts
  • Empower team with tools, information, and confidence they need to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Lead the end-to-end talent lifecycle: recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and manage performance
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture; celebrate wins and resolve interpersonal conflicts with discretion
  • Maintain a pulse on team’s strengths and opportunities; create ongoing training opportunities
  • Performance Management
  • Own the studio P&L: drive top-line revenue through schedule optimization, membership sales, and retail performance while managing controllable expenses
  • Develop new client acquisition and client retention plans
  • Analyze operational and sales reports to identify communicate trends, benchmark KPIs, and implement performance improvements with both the team and management
  • Consultative Selling
  • Articulate the Faced story, services, and product lines to educate guests and drive consultative retail sales
  • Check staff/client communications and provide feedback and coaching
  • Manage day to day front- and back-of-house operations, including optimizing staff scheduling, POS/CRM administration, and adherence to state board regulations
  • Manage inventory and supplies, keeping appropriate stock levels
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the studio
  • Lead operational audits and secret shopper initiatives to uphold brand consistency and service excellence
  • Assist with laundry
  • Community Building
  • Act as the local brand ambassador to introduce Faced to the greater Charlotte community
  • Plan and execute studio events, seasonal activations, and local marketing campaigns
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with neighboring businesses, influencers, and community organizations

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Management and/or leadership experience - minimum 2 year experience
  • Spa and/or luxury retail experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer and Microsoft Excel skills including use of a Point-of-Sale and CRM tool
  • Passion for skincare a plus
  • Will be expected to develop an understanding of the esthetics field and be provided initial training

Schedule:

  • Full Time with a variable schedule across weekdays and weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The typical schedule is 5 days per week including Saturdays.
