Utah Valley University is seeking a stockroom assistant to assist the Chemistry department!
Summary of Responsibilities
Performs a variety of duties:

• Assists in moving and setting up lab equipment and supplies.
• Maintains clean and orderly storage and chemistry areas.
• Prepares chemical reagents in teaching laboratories.
• Organizes and cleans glassware.
• Assists in ordering chemicals.
• Assists in chemical waste disposal.
• Monitors student use of lab equipment and supplies.
• Informs supervisor of possible defects in equipment or facilities.
• Assists in maintaining lab security.
• Inventories lab supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

• Must be a current UVU student.
• Students must have completed CHEM 1225 lab.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to keep student information confidential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
