Job Description
The ICSM Teaching Assistant for the Innovation Scholars Ithaca Seminar will provide short-term assistance to support student engagement and assist students with devising and implementing "Innovation Sprint" projects with relevance to the campus community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) support the ICSM instructor in and out of class sessions,
2) assist students with their conception, refinement, and implementation of a short-term campus innovation project; and 3) provide guidance and support for students in the Innovation Scholar Program.
Required Qualifications:- Completion of the ICSM Innovation Scholars course with a grade of A or above
- Strong academic record with an interdisciplinary focus (i.e., major and minor in different schools or disciplines, student club participation)
- Ability to commit to total of 24 hours of assistance throughout the semester during days and times needed for the course
- Demonstrated reliability and communication skills
- Strong interest in sustainability and social justice
