A leading international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate with 2–8 years of experience to join its market-leading finance practice.
This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with significant exposure to Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), securitizations, structured credit products, and asset-based lending transactions who are looking to work on sophisticated and high-profile matters alongside a collaborative team of industry-leading practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the structuring, execution, and closing of CLO transactions.
- Represent arrangers, issuers, investors, managers, and other market participants in structured finance transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements.
- Provide counsel on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters relating to structured credit products.
- Manage multiple active transactions and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex financing transactions involving middle-market and broadly syndicated loan assets.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 2–8 years of law firm experience in structured finance, securitization, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, or related transactional practices.
- Meaningful experience with CLOs, structured credit products, or middle-market leveraged loan transactions preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced transactional environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
