A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join its growing Houston office.
About the Role
The team advises issuers, sponsors, underwriters and institutional investors on a broad range of sophisticated structured finance and securitization transactions.
Responsibilities
- Asset-backed securities (ABS) offerings across a range of traditional and specialist asset classes
- Asset-based lending and other secured financing arrangements
- Single-lender and syndicated credit facilities
- Structured credit and private credit transactions
- Legal opinion work supporting securitization structures
- Structured finance aspects of wider corporate, tax and restructuring matters
Associates are given significant responsibility from an early stage, working directly with clients on complex transactions while collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm's tax, real estate, banking and restructuring practices.

Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in securitization and structured finance transactions
- Eligibility to practice law in the State of Texas
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Energy and infrastructure-related transactional experience is a plus
