What You ll Be Doing
Install and terminate commercial structured cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling.
Perform cable pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, and termination while following project specifications and industry standards.
Install data jacks, patch panels, racks, cable trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, and other pathway infrastructure.
Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, cable schedules, and basic construction drawings to complete installations accurately.
Perform basic cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification using appropriate test equipment and correct any installation issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while working effectively alongside lead technicians, project managers, and other trades.
Be willing to work on commercial construction projects throughout the Houston area.
What You Bring to the Table
Hands-on experience with commercial structured cabling, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and basic fiber optic installations.
Ability to accurately perform cable pulling, termination, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting while following project specifications and industry standards.
Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction, work well with a team, maintain jobsite safety, and meet project deadlines.
Must have OSHA 10 or 30 Construction certification
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
