Our client is a growing IT infrastructure installation company seeking a POS Install Technician to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling and equipment installation, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, travel-based environment. This is a great opportunity to build technical skills while supporting installations for major national retail, hospitality, and food service brands. Job Responsibilities Install and terminate structured cabling to support POS systems and self-service kiosks. - Interpret blueprints and site documentation to place equipment correctly.
- Configure and image new POS and networking devices. - Maintain clean, organized cable management across all installations. - Complete required paperwork and documentation for each completed site. - Travel to client locations to perform on-site installations, working independently or as part of a team. - Transport and safely handle tools and equipment between job sites Job Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving a cargo van and transporting equipment. - Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods. - Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts. - Must supply own basic hand tools. - High school diploma required.
- Prior POS installation or structured cabling experience preferred. - Basic familiarity with networking and computer systems; OSHA10 certification a plus.
