Structural Welder

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural welding using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (SMAW) welding processes on steel and metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Fit, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with fabrication team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in structural welding or metal fabrication 2 years minimum
• Clean driving record
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• AWS certification or equivalent welding certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a shop environment
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
