Structural Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team for industrial construction projects in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Louisiana . We have multiple openings across four different worksites , including three worksites in Corpus Christi and one worksite in Louisiana . The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in structural welding and steel fabrication, with the ability to work independently while producing high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and job specifications.
• Perform structural welding on steel and other metal components using approved welding processes.
• Cut, fit, align, and assemble structural steel components according to project requirements.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Perform basic fabrication and material preparation as required.
• Follow all company and job site safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and project delays to supervisors promptly.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Welder in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and measurements.
• Experience with structural steel welding and fabrication.
• Proficient in the operation of welding and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors when required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel to assigned worksites as project needs require.
  

Work Locations

This position offers employment opportunities at four project worksites :

• Corpus Christi, Texas - Three (3) different worksites
• Louisiana - One (1) worksite

Candidates must be willing to work at any assigned location based on project and operational needs.
