Dematic has an immediate opening for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our North America Engineering team in Wauwatosa, WI. This is a hands-on, project-based role requiring deep expertise in structural analysis, steel and rack design, and close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and project teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fundamentals, proven experience in industrial racking and ASRS applications, and the ability to lead complex structural engineering initiatives from concept through installation.

Travel: Lead and coordinate Dematic North America’s racking and structural engineering initiatives
Support all phases of projects including concept development, structural design, engineering, installation, and commissioning
Develop and review structural designs at both system and component levels, ensuring safe operation, code compliance, and sustainability
Create and review 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation
Manage structural engineering budgets and design schedules for assigned projects; communicate status to project teams and management
Liaise closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, safety, site managers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution
Support technical and concept reviews and ensure adherence to Dematic’s engineering processes and standards
