Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering design of building structural systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the structural design for steel and concrete structures on a variety of projects.
- Advanced working proficiency in STAAD Pro.
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- Solid working knowledge of building codes and other applicable structural codes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and clients.
- Perform calculations of structural systems (hand calculations, computer-aided calculations using spreadsheets and Mathcad, and 3D modeling analysis using STAAD).
- Assist in creation of contract drawings by providing drawing input to structural designers.
