Structural Engineer (Defence & Security) | Remote + occasional site visits | Permanent

A leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a remote-first role with occasional site visits, offering the chance to work on high-impact building and infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll be doing

Delivering structural engineering design across a range of building/infrastructure projects
nProducing and checking calculations, design outputs and supporting technical documentation
nSupporting site activities including inspections/surveys and responding to technical queries
nCoordinating with senior engineers, contractors and wider design teams to ensure safe delivery
nEnsuring work meets relevant standards, regulations and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a Structural Engineer / Structural Design role
nComfortable working across both design office and site support activities
nStrong technical capability with a detail-focused, safety-first approach
nAble to communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders
nSecurity Clearance (SC) required (or ability to obtain)
