We\'re recruiting a Structural Engineer to lead design and innovation for a fast-growing manufacturer pushing the boundaries of large-scale structural systems. This isn\'t CAD-shuffling. You\'ll own real engineering challenges on projects that demand precision, creativity, and technical excellence.
What you\'ll do:
* Own structural design and optimization for complex, high-performance systems, applying advanced finite element analysis to validate behavior under combined static and dynamic loading conditions
* Drive innovation in load analysis, environmental design (wind, seismic), and material engineering, translating first-principles mechanics into manufacturable solutions
* Lead the development of next-generation mounting and support systems for utility-scale deployments, balancing structural redundancy against material efficiency
* Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, field operations, and project delivery teams to align design intent with fabrication tolerances and installation constraints
* Push for structural excellence while optimizing cost and manufacturability, treating design margin as a variable to be engineered rather than assumed
* Solve real-world engineering problems in the field and in the lab, closing the loop between simulated performance and observed behavior
What we\'re looking for:
* Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a comparable discipline (PE licensure a plus)
* 3+ years of structural design experience across a range of loading scenarios and system typologies
* Advanced Truss/ATI experience required: tracker systems, racking, or comparably complex structural assemblies
* Working command of FEA methodology and governing design standards (AISC and related codes)
* Strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent parametric tools)
* A hands-on approach to manufacturing environments, comfortable moving between analysis and on-site problem-solving
* Work on technology that\'s genuinely reshaping the energy landscape
* Learn directly from engineers who\'ve shipped products into the field, not just through a design phase
* Grow quickly on a team that treats technical rigor as non-negotiable
* Competitive compensation and strong benefits in a sector that\'s expanding fast
