Pay: $48.00- $64.00 per hour DOE

PE license required. No visa sponsorship available. We're looking for a Structural Engineer (PE) to join our design team as an integral contributor to structural analysis and design on a variety of projects. You'll work closely with structural leads, engineers, designers, and other disciplines — helping develop design concepts, completing analysis, and communicating structural requirements through design documents and models. You'll be given as much responsibility as you're ready to take on, with career growth limited only by your own motivation and initiative.

What you'll do

  • Perform structural analysis and design under general supervision across a variety of project types
  • Apply lateral analysis and design principles including wind and seismic code provisions
  • Review and check other engineers' calculations for accuracy and quality
  • Take ownership of assigned structural scope — managing schedule, budget, and quality
  • Identify scope changes and escalate to the Structural Lead as needed
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers
  • Advance workflows, tools, and systems within the structural discipline; embrace emerging technologies
  • Perform occasional field walks — may include ladder climbing or extended walking/standing

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license — required
  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Experience with US building codes — IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
  • Experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Experience designing and analyzing steel and concrete structures
  • Must reside in the U.S. Northeast — CT, IA, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, MN, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SD, VT, or WI
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship available

Nice to have

  • MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or general industrial facility design
  • Experience leading small engineering teams

Work arrangement Hybrid/remote — work from nearest local office or home. Must provide home internet service meeting project performance requirements. Occasional field walks required.
