Overview
Structural Engineer – Luxury Home Specialist. In-person, based in Golden or Boulder, Colorado. Employment Type: Full-time. The role focuses on high-end residential design, collaborating with top architects and builders across Colorado and beyond. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and delivering design-forward, constructible engineering solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design and detail structural systems for high-end custom homes—wood, steel, concrete, and specialty framing systems
- Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and owners to bring creative architectural visions to life
- Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to a high standard of accuracy and clarity
- Perform construction observations, field coordination, and on-site evaluations
- Contribute to concept design sessions and guide projects from schematic design through construction
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to leadership within Anthem’s high-end residential practice
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in structural design (custom residential experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (RISA, RAM, Revit Structure, Bluebeam)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects, contractors, and clients
- Strong sense of design and attention to architectural detail
- Experience with hillside sites, complex framing, or mountain environments a plus

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $90,000 – $102,000, depending on experience and licensure
