Structural Engineer

Design Alaska is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer , or an Engineer approaching licensure, to join our multidisciplinary team in Fairbanks.

As a full-service architecture, engineering, and surveying firm, Design Alaska provides commercial and institutional design services throughout Alaska. We offer a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where professionals can grow their careers while making a lasting impact.

What You'll Do:

• Structural design from concept through construction
• Seismic design and detailing
• Structural damage assessment and repair design
• BIM modeling and coordination
• Construction administration and site visits
• Cost estimating and technical reporting
  

What We're Looking For:

• PE/SE license or within one year of licensure
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, with structural coursework
• Experience with Revit and structural analysis software
• Strong structural analysis and design skills
• Interest in mentoring EITs and interns
• Interest in project management and building strong client relationships
