Summary:
- The Structural Drafter/Designer will be responsible for reading plans and working with the Engineers to complete a project, which includes, setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so that the Engineers can design the project in timely manner.
- The successful drafting candidate will report to the drafting Manager or the Senior Engineer and will be responsible for carrying out tasks that are delegated.
- The Drafting technician will be responsible for reading plans and working with the Engineers to complete a project, which includes, setting up sheets, laying out building plans or elevations, and cutting sections so that the Engineers can design the project.
- The drafter shall assist the Engineers in any way possible for the project to be completed in the time frame given by our clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- 3+ years drafting experience, emphasis on structural in the vertical construction field
- The ability to read plans and look at sections given to us by our clients
- The ability to draft from the plans and sections to show the structural elements required to make the building be structurally sound
