Primary Responsibilities:

Performs basic structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.

Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.

Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

2 years of experience working in relevant fields of the engineering industry

1 year of experience performing engineering analysis

Prior experience working on projects with supply chain engagement

Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

(Mid-Level- Level 3) 5 years of experience performing structural analysis in the relevant fields of the engineering industry

1 year performing structural analysis on Interiors or secondary structures

1 year of experience working on projects with supply chain engagement

Prior experience performing engineering oversight of supporting production issues related to Interiors or secondary structures

Prior experience supporting test programs for Interiors structures

Prior experience with regulatory requirements related to aircraft interiors
