Stroke Neurologist

Northwell/Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time BE/BC fellowship-trained Stroke Neurologist to join their expanding Neuroscience Program and clinical team at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. In this role, the provider will collaborate with a large multidisciplinary neuroscience team to deliver exceptional care in a setting featuring a new inpatient pavilion and advanced clinical capabilities. The position offers an opportunity to engage in clinical trials, research, and a robust residency program.

Practice Info

• Located at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York
• New 752,000 square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms
• Provides leading acute and critical emergency care, including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology
• Centers of excellence in cardiac services, neurosciences, cancer care, and women's health

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary neuroscience team comprised of Neurosurgeons, Neurointerventionalists, Neurohospitalists, Neurologists, and a team of mid-level professionals

Compensation

• $300,000 - $400,000
• Highly competitive compensation package
• $300,000 - $400,000 annually commensurate with experience

Qualifications

• BE/BC fellowship-trained Stroke Neurologist
• D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited neurology residency and stroke fellowship
• Board Certified
• Capable in both general & stroke neurology
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
