Responsibilities
- Direct and establish best practices for the hospital stroke program.
- Lead the Stroke Program Team and participate in Neurology Service Line meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between administration and the stroke team, regularly reporting to Executive and Health System leadership.
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Monitor quality data and lead process improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality standards.
- Collaborate with service-line leadership to expand and implement best practices in stroke care.
- Oversee physician recruitment, mentorship, and supervision.
- Drive program development, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- MD Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited).
- Completion of Neurology residency and Stroke/Vascular fellowship.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating exceptional leadership skills (ideally possessed).
