Stretch Professional (Massage License required)

StretchLab Santa Fe is seeking individuals who are licensed in personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy, or chiropractic medicine, as well as those certified in dance, yoga, or Pilates, to be trained as a stretch practitioner and join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.

StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one‑on‑one assisted stretching. With co‑founders coming from the personal training industry, StretchLab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to ‘Live Long’. The team at StretchLab already includes experts certified in an array of related fields including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist™ training ensures that clients receive a world‑class stretching session.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to six clients.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.
• Build the StretchLab Santa Fe membership and retain current clientele through sales.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class stretching experience.
• Book clients’ weekly recurring appointments.
• Update client notes consistently.
• Maximize client utilization of sessions and membership by booking follow‑up appointments, renewing memberships, and outreach to leads.
• Ensure safety of clients by using proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules.
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
• Handle member concerns when applicable.
• Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to support client membership and retention.
• Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at all times.

Qualifications

• Passion for boutique fitness environments, stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
• Preferred background: Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Personal Trainer, Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Chiropractor, Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor, Certified Dance Instructor, or Degree in Kinesiology.
• Experience working in a fitness or health environment where you provide hands‑on training with clients.
• Fitness certification required.
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
• Strong communication skills and empathy.
• Enthusiasm for connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals.
• Professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies.
• Availability to complete the 2‑Day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in‑person/hands‑on training.
