Overview
As a Strategy & Deals Tech Strategy Director, you will provide strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring focused on Product and Technology Diligence and Product‑led Value Creation for software and technology‑enabled businesses.
Within our Deals practice, you will analyze market trends, assess business opportunities, and develop strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive‑level client relations.
You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize value and achieve their business objectives. You will cultivate the potential in others, collaborate across the PwC Network, and promote technological advances while creating a healthy working environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading strategic initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring to optimize client outcomes.
- Analyzing market trends and assessing business opportunities to develop strategic frameworks for client decision‑making.
- Guiding clients through complex transactions by identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Developing and executing strategies to maximize value in client deal‑making processes.
- Overseeing multiple projects and maintaining executive‑level client relations to drive business growth.
- Promoting technological advances and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.
- Mentoring and cultivating the next generation of leaders within the organization.
- Collaborating across the PwC Network to leverage collective strengths and maximize client satisfaction.
- Translating vision into actionable strategies and inspiring others to follow.
- Identifying gaps in the market and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm.
Qualifications
Core Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 9 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference for a Master’s or Master of Business Administration degree.
- Proficiency in acquisition strategy and M&A strategy.
- Analytical thinking for competitive analysis and market research.
- Excellence in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
- Experience leading post‑merger integration and value creation initiatives.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions through creativity and strategic planning.
- Strong relationship building and influence skills with stakeholders in technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.
- Travel up to 40%.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $155,000 – $410,000, dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
