Strategic Project ManagerLocation: The Woodlands, TX, US, 77380 Work Arrangement: Hybrid Dover Precision Components (DPC) is hiring a Strategic Project Manager. This role can be based at either of our Houston locations: Pearland or The Woodlands. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week remote work possible/ 3 days onsite. Some travel (up to 15%) is required.WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Strategic Project Manager is responsible for aligning and coordinating all aspects of Project Management, from initiation to completion of manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.This role bridges the gap between high-level strategies and implementation of the initiatives, while analyzing risk and ensuring the projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.The Strategic Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of project objectives and deliverables.Responsibilities include:Strategic Alignment: Drive operational excellence; ensuring projects align to DPC's long-term mission and strategic pillarsManage all phases of strategic projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closingDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimatesStakeholder Management & Communication: Prepare and present status reports (critical updates & outcomes) to Sr. Management and stakeholdersLead project meetings and coordinate communication between internal teams and external partnersFoster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement and organizational change across the teamsPerformance Metrics & Reporting: Develop and monitor KPIs; analyze data to evaluate project successUtilize data to improve processes and support decision-makingMonitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure projects meet required standards (i.e.

compliance, quality, safety, etc.)WHAT YOU'LL BRINGBachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field7+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, preferably in a Lean manufacturing environment with proven experience leading strategic projects across cross-functional teamsDemonstrate excellent project management skills; ability to deliver results across multi-site operationsStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Project)Ability to coach/motivate, work collaboratively and successfully influence stakeholdersStrong leadership, organizational, communication, interpersonal skillsStrong analytical skills and business acumenHigh level of self-motivation with proactive approaches to problem solving and strong decision-making capabilitiesProficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, Power Point and Power BI (Value Stream Mapping)ALSO GREAT IF YOU BRING/ PREFERENCESPMP certificationMaster's Degree in Project Management and/or Business AdministrationDOVER PRECISION COMPONENTSDover Precision Components 'DPC' ('the Company') is part of Dover Corporation's ('the Parent Company') Pumps and Process solutions segment.
