Firm: Asset Manager
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Partner with investment and operating teams to evaluate portfolio company performance, identify key business drivers, and translate financial results into actionable insights
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the firm and portfolio, developing models to assess revenue growth, margins, cash flow, and key operating metrics
- Build financial models and investment analyses supporting acquisitions, add-ons, refinancing, and strategic initiatives, including scenario analysis and returns sensitivity
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reporting for senior leadership, highlighting variances, trends, and areas requiring attention across the portfolio
- Support portfolio value creation initiatives by analyzing cost structures, pricing, working capital, and operational opportunities to improve EBITDA and cash generation
- Conduct market, competitive, and company-level research to support investment theses, strategic planning, and ad hoc projects for the investment team
Requirements:
- 3-6 years FP&A experience at an asset manager or financial services firm
- Excellent financial modeling, Excel, presentation skills
