From trend forecasting to tech innovation, our teams work together to bring the Tillys experience to life — both in-store and online.Position SummaryStore Operations Administrative Assistant supports the daily functions of the Store Operations team, including internal communication and special projects. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of operational tasks, communicates directly with store teams to resolve issues, and help streamline processes to support the store efficiently.We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position is a great fit for someone with prior retail leadership experience who's looking to step into a corporate role.Key ResponsibilitiesA typical day may include:Complete tasks associated with opening and closing Stores.Updates materials, reference booklets and checklists.Order, pack, and coordinate shipping of supplies.Works closely with other Departments to ensure timely resolution of issues reported by the District Manager.Reviews and edits communication, messages and instructional documents for Stores.Provides support and completes tasks/projects as requested for special projects (meetings, contests, etc.) as needed.Completes supply order for Stores and DMs.Monitors, assigns and addresses Call Center Tickets submitted by Stores.Prepares documents, envelopes, etc. and slots in the mail for Stores, DMs and RDs.Provides support and service to Regional Directors, District Managers and Stores.Answers the Store Ops phone line and resolves issues.Perform other duties and assigned and apparent.Leadership Skills:Work in a fast-paced environment; flexible and able to manage shifting priorities.Leads by example.Remains open and adaptable to change and new challenges for growth.Continually thinks of suggestions, ideas, areas and opportunities for growth or improvement of the Company.Maintains an exemplary degree of professionalism with all Company EmployeesPunctual and work planned schedule.QualificationsYour experience brings:Minimum one-year Lead Sales experience at an apparel Retailer preferredMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferredAdobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plusExcellent written/grammatical and verbal communication skillsProofreading abilityTyping of 45-55 wpmPhone etiquetteOrganizational and formatting skillsAttention to detailExcellent time management and prioritizationHighly motivated with a sense of urgencyEducation & Experience1–2 years of … experience preferred, ideally in a retail environmentHigh School Diploma requiredWork Environment & Physical DemandsProfessional office setting with low to moderate noiseAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsOccasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs. and navigate stairsFrequent walking and movement between floors/departmentsReasonable accommodation is available to support individuals with disabilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentWhile this is not a leadership role, we value team players who embody proactive collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and a growth mindset.
