Role Description

This full-time, on-site Store Manager role is located in Union City, PA. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store standards. This role leads and develops store associates through scheduling, training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure a positive and efficient work environment. The Store Manager monitors sales goals, controls expenses, and implements loss prevention practices to support profitability. In addition, this role ensures an excellent customer experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and promoting a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment in line with Dollar General policies and values.

• Candidates should possess strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
• Candidates should possess effective interpersonal skills, including clear Communication and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Candidates should possess core operational skills, including Store Management experience and knowledge of retail processes and standards.
• Candidates should possess risk and compliance skills, including familiarity with Retail Loss Prevention practices.
• Relevant experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or retail management is a plus.
